Day 1 of the 3 Days Rwanda Wildlife Tour-Akagera National Park: Arrival in Kanombe International Airport & Embark on Kigali City
Upon your arrival at Kanombe international airport in Kigali, you will be met by our experienced driver guide who will transfer you to any of Kigali hotels for Cup of coffee and refreshment. Thereafter, embark on city tour .The city tour will take you through Gisozi genocide memorial center where you will have time to listen to the comprehensive history of Rwanda during the 1994 genocide and the events of the massacres, including personal accounts. You will view the Photographs, video clips, and artifacts of the genocide. Right after visiting Gisozi genocide memorial, you will advance to tour other interesting places like Nyamata church, Presidential Palace, explore the Natural History Museum also known as ‘Kandt house’ a first modern house built in Kigali since its existence as a capital city. You may visit art and craft centers like Caplaki, Inganzo gallery where you will spend time learning how to sew peace baskets and make Imigongo that Rwandans use for home decoration, visit local Markets Like Cyimironko Local Market, Kicukiro Local Market. In the evening, you will join the Susa Tours cultural troup for cultural entertainment. Here you will experience contemporary music, African, Rwandan food and drinks. Afterwards retire back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 of the 3 Days Rwanda Wildlife Tour-Akagera National Park: Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park & Afternoon boat trip
After taking an early morning breakfast, you will depart Kigali driving on the Eastern direction to Akagera National Park. The 2-3hours drive journey is an adventurous journey because you will explore the natural scenic beautify of Rwanda while on your way to Akagera. On arrival to Akagera, you will drive direct to you lodge to check-in, have Lunch and after lunch proceed for Short boat trips which are available on Akagera’s lakes. Here you will have an opportunity to get close to the plentiful water birds including numerous African fish eagles, open-billed stork marabou stork, cormorants, crowned cranes, egrets and herons. On good day, you may even get a chance to see the endangered shoebill stork. Boat trips along the shores of Lake Ihema, Rwanda’s second largest lake, yield some great aquatic bird sightings and you can even fish on Lake Shakani. After the boat trip, you will drive back to the park head Quarters for Behind the Scenes experience. Here you will get more insights into Akagera, including conservation developments within the park. You will also meet some of the people integral to the management of the park. From the park, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 of the 3 Days Rwanda Wildlife Tour-Akagera National Park: Early Morning Game drive & Transfer back to Kigali
Right after your early morning breakfast, you will start your day by embarking on an early morning game drive in the well-coordinated tracks of Akagera national park. The game drive will offer you possibilities of meeting the nocturnal wildlife species when they are retuning back to their hiding grounds and you may also encounter the early morning wildlife risers when they are starting their daily activities of looking for food. The different wildlife species which you may encounter include the zebras, several antelope species and giraffes, bush bucks, waterbucks, eland species, hippo and the crocodiles .After the game drive, you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After lunch, embark on transfer back to Kigali. On arrival to the city, the driver guide will drive you direct to your lodge or Kigali international Airport for your onward flight back home.
